If you are visiting the ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ by boat, there areÌýtwo location for moorings. ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Bank MooringsÌýprovides pontoon moorings in a picturesqueÌýflood-safe location for boats of up to 60 feetÌýlong. Dovecote Moorings has riverside berths forÌýnarrowboats, widebeams and cruisers.Ìý

Our mooring sites are surrounded by tranquilÌýcountryside and provide electrical hook-ups, waterÌýpoints, calor gas, chemical toilet disposal, refuseÌýdisposal and dedicated berth holder car parking.ÌýStep off the boat and straight into Dorothy’s WoodÌýand either follow the Founder's Trail to explore theÌýarboretum or stroll along the River Avon to try andÌýspot kingfishers and otters.

Eco-friendly holiday cottages

Two brand new dog-friendly holiday cottagesÌýare available to hire from 1st October in the heartÌýof the ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ near Dorsington. Two bedroom AcornÌýCottage can sleep up to three people, and fourÌýbedroom Oak Cottage can sleep up to eightÌýpeople. Oak Cottage isÌýwheelchair friendly with a ground-floor king-sizeÌýbedroom and a wet room.Ìý

Converted from a redundant agriculturalÌýbarn, the cottages have high thermal efficiencyÌýand have an environmentally sensitive design.ÌýThe oak cladding is FSC certified. Low energyÌýmechanical and electrical fittings have beenÌýinstalled throughout. There are solar panels andÌýTesla Power walls to generate and store electricity.ÌýElectric vehicle charging points have been fitted.ÌýEven the furniture has been hand-craftedÌýfrom reclaimed materials.ÌýThe imported energy forÌýboth properties is EKOÌýcredited – 100% renewableÌýand from energy farms thatÌýminimise their environmentalÌýimpact and are not locatedÌýin areas that affect birdÌýand marine habitats. ToÌýencourage cycling asÌýa means of exploring theÌýarea, secure bike storage isÌýprovided at both cottages.
